ABOUT US

Our mission at Strength & Wellness Personal Training, is to help as many people as we can to move better, get fitter and grow stronger, regardless of their age.

Our one on one and semi-private personal training sessions are designed to help you reach your goals, in a fun, friendly, non-judgemental environment.

Using the principles of functional movement, and with experience in movement restoration, we’ve helped whether that’s to get stronger, increase muscle mass, restore movement and lose body fat.

We are passionate about helping people to achieve their optimal health and wellbeing.

OUR PROGRAM

When you join Strength & Wellness Personal Training you’ll be taken though an extensive functional movement assessment.

From this we design a program to help restore any movement disfunction whilst achieving your goals. We do this by using a range of tools including functional bags, kettle bells and suspension straps along with the more traditional equipment such as dumbbells and barbells.

Generally, your program changes every 4 weeks, enough time for you to see progress without your muscles getting to used to the exercises!

SAMANTHA WOOLSEY

Hi, I’m Samantha.

I created Strength & Wellness Personal Training in 2016.

Why?

Well, I started going to the gym in my 40s, after my mother passed away. And I noticed there were no trainers my age. The younger trainers didn’t have the same life experience that I did. They didn’t understand what it was like working in a high paced corporate environment and the pressures that come with that. So when I had the opportunity to leave my corporate job, I decided to retrain as a Personal Trainer and share my love of health fitness with like-minded people.

Initially, I rented out space in a large gym but I didn’t really enjoy it there, having to wait for equipment, training with strangers and let’s face it, those gyms aren’t that clean. I felt the experience wasn’t personal enough.So in December 2020, I opened my boutique studio – Strength & Wellness Personal Training. I love my studio space, it’s the perfect size for private and semi-private personal training. And being close to home I get to help people in my local community. Whether it’s getting stronger, learning to move properly after an accident or injury, or losing body fat, I thrive on seeing my clients reach their goals.
